Saarinen Round Dining Tables - Knoll

The Tulip table is a design by Eero Saarinen from 1958. A design classic currently produced by Knoll, a furniture firm that has achieved great recognition and prestige due to the high quality and exclusivity of its pieces.

The Saarinen Tables collection is made up of different tables, whether dining tables, side tables or coffee tables, which are available in circular, oval format and can also be configured thanks to the possibilities of measurements and finishes.

For the design of this collection, Eero Saarinen undertook to address the "confusing, restless, ugly world" he observed beneath the chairs and tables, the so-called "neighborhood under the legs." A design research that lasted five years and led him to the revolutionary Pedestal Collection, introduced in 1958. His search for purist architecture and interior design led him to create this magnificent collection, with a dining table, coffee and auxiliary, becoming a very important icon of contemporary design.
