Castore Dining Table - Karakter

Pure spectacle is the Castore dining table designed by the Italian architect and sculptor Angelo Mangiarotti in 1975, a design so sculptural and attractive that it is always current, its contemporary design is easy to introduce into spaces that seek a luxurious, elegant and sophisticated character.

It was created in the 70s to be presented at the Sorgente dei Mobili, but the Danish firm Karakter recovers this design and now presents the unmistakable design, available as a dining table with a diameter of 130 cm.

Its appearance is striking and at the same time it is discreet, noble materials have been selected that give off a sophisticated air as well as neutral and elegant colors that make it easy to introduce this table in different spaces or decorative environments.

Formed by a circular glass top or lid that gives it visual lightness that rests or rests on a robust and heavy marble base, the Castore Dining Table by Mangiarotti offers a small bowl on top, also made of marble to match the base, which holds the glass top in place.

The rounded corners on both the pillar and the bowl give a soft feel to the heavy aesthetic of the marble.

The marble bowl can be removed and used as an individual item. However, keeping it an integral part of the design, you can enjoy additional rounded corners, as the bowl is reflected on the surface of the glass table.
