The B-Table dining table from Gubi will surprise you with its versatility and robust and elegant design, which transmits great comfort, warmth and cozy feeling to your living room or kitchen. Although it is apparently very current, it is an original design from the 50s by designer Marcel Gascoin.
It is ideal for small spaces or environments as they are a subtle movement, turning an 85x85 square table into a 116 cm round table where you can enjoy with your loved ones.
An attractive design, which will not leave all your guests indifferent.
The B-Table from Gubi is ingenious and very versatile. An original design by Marcel Gascoin in the 50s as a response to the limitations posed in the small spaces that were built in the post-war era in France. In order to furnish these homes, it was necessary to have small furniture to leave enough space for the rest of the elements.
This table surprises for being a square table, perfect for 4 people, which transforms with a fluid movement into a round table to accommodate 6 people. Gascoin created two tables in one, offering a very functional surface to eat and work as well as showing a refined and elegant aesthetic.
Gubi has decided to recover this design and produce it again in an optimized way, in order to meet the needs of modern homes and spaces, its flexibility and versatility is perfect for spaces such as kitchens or living rooms of reduced dimensions, but without the guarantee of being able to have a quality product and a good design that makes the house warmer and more comfortable.
Changing from the square to the round format is very simple, one person alone can do it effortlessly.
The table is available in two finishes, oak or walnut wood.
The B-Table is part of a unified Gascoin collection that includes the S-Table, the C-Chair, and the Trèfle Stool. Made of wood, their elegant simplicity and limitless configuration allows them to work together with many styles of home or office interiors.
