




Spider 291 by Oluce is a tabletop design created by Joe Colombo in 1965.
The Spider table lamp is made up of a single aluminium body, designed as a horizontal light source adapted to floor, table, ceiling and wall formats. The Spider 291 lamp emits direct adjustable light.

The Oluce Spider lamp was conceived in 1965 as a single lighting body by Joe Colombo. Two years later, Spider lamp was the first Compasso d'Oro for the Italian firm Oluce. Subsequently, the Spider lamp was at the MoMa in New York during the exhibition "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" in 1972 and is part of the permanent exhibition of the Milan Triennale, the Finnish Art Museum and the "Neue Sammlung" Museum in Munich.
Spider 291 is the name given to the desktop version of this emblematic collection and is made up of a simple aluminum body and adjustable horizontal screen.
Materials: Chrome-plated aluminum frame; Aluminum lampshade and base painted in black or white; Melamine gasket.
