Globo Cesta is a suspension design designed by Miguel Milá for the publisher Santa&Cole.
The Globo Cesta lamp belongs to the iconic Santa and Cole Baskets and Baskets family. This roof version is manufactured in two sizes with an opal glass shade and metal rosette. Basket balloon is perfect for creating cozy and warm atmospheres!
Miguel Milá frees Globo cesta from the enveloping wooden structure that characterizes the rest of the members of the collection. This suspension design is an expression of the Mediterranean culture that on this occasion suspends from the ceiling, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from above. The first design Cesta de Santa y cole dates back to the 60s, when its author found inspiration in an opaline balloon abandoned in a glass factory in Barcelona and in the need to embrace its fragility. In this way, the Globo Cesta lamp is the latest design to become part of the iconic Cesta family of Santa Cole lamps.
