Audo Copenhagen is the firm in charge of producing By Lassen's designs, among which are the ML 42 stools.

In 1942 Mogens Lassen designed the ML42 Stool as a piece for a furniture exhibition held at the Danish Museum of Art Decoration. He was inspired by the stools used by shoemakers of the past, and wanted to capture the light and elegant look in this design of the three-legged stool.

This collection offers 3 heights or models, from the low stool, through the counter or kitchen stool to the high or bar stool. The medium and high models are complemented by a metal structure that serves as a footrest in stainless steel or brass.

The ML42 stool is considered a collector's item of international design connoisseurs.
