Bertoia Stool is a stool designed by Harry Bertoia to Knoll in 1952.
Available in two heights, the Bertoia stool is a sculptural design in steel filament with a modern and original aesthetic that fits perfectly into residential and public environments.
We propose the version of the stool with cushion upholstered in Tonus fabric. If you are interested in a different upholstery, please contact us.
The Bertoia Stool from Knoll is a design made of delicately industrialized wire thread. This Harry Bertoia stool is among the most recognized achievements of mid-century modern design. Like Saarinen and Mies, Bertoia found inspiration in an industrial material, elevating it above its normal usefulness to a work of art.
The entire wire collection is an incredible study in space, form and function of one of the masters of sculpture of the last century and a part of the pride of Knoll heritage. They can carry seat cushion, seat and back cushion or full seat and back cover.
Materials: Seat and backrest in steel filament and base of polished chrome steel bars, not suitable for outdoor use, or in powder coat in black and white colors (in this powder coat version they are suitable for outdoors).
