Eames Storage Units, ESU Shelf.
In 1949, Charles and Ray Eames developed a novel freestanding multifunctional shelving system, the Eames Storage Units (ESU Shelf), built on the principles of industrial mass production, just like the Eames House, which dates from the same era.
In 2013 and in close collaboration between the Eames Office and the designer Hella Jongerius, they made a new range of carefully defined colors. It is available in various heights, from one to four heights, with the same width and depth for all of them.
Materials: Laminated maple wood veneered in birch with clear varnish, MDF side panels varnished in brown, grey, orange and red, brushed and black lacquered metal surfaces, height-adjustable legs.

3AA - width 1795 cm x height 1175 x depth 420 cm.
4AA - width 1795 cm x height 1480 x depth 420 cm.
