The Guuve sofa system, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, has an original curved look that will make any living room where it is placed gain prominence, character and style. Gruuve is a modular sofa that can be used individually or as a set of several elements to create large seating surfaces in residential areas, hotels, office spaces or similar.
The irregular, rounded shapes and organic lines are what give shape to this entire series of Gruuve modules and sofas by Moroso, creating a seat that integrates in one piece a comfortable seat together with an original low backrest that folds over the main shape to create that support for the back and arms.
The new union between the Italian furniture house Moroso and the designer Patricia Urquiola, results in the original Gruuve modular sofa.
It was born as the natural evolution of the Lowseat collection from the year 2000 by Moroso, but with a more robust appearance and a more rounded air lowering the entire structure to the ground. Gruuve tries to reflect the fresh and youthful spirit of the 70s, putting a contemporary spin on the hipster idea of a sofa that can be assembled at will. With the fluid and irregular lines of its four modules, the collection conveys a sense of dynamism to the room and gives its design an unexpected flexibility.
Placed in the center of the living room to create a unique labyrinth of pleasant spaces, the Gruuve sofa becomes the star of both domestic and public spaces thanks to its charismatic design. The articulated yet continuous lines of the sofa feature a traditional seat in the front and a more casual one in the back, encouraging conversation and interaction.
