The Fauteuil de Salon armchair, a design by Jean Prouvé for vitra. It combines the simple planes of a homogeneous architectural object with an extraordinarily comfortable seating surface and backrest. Rediscovered in the archives of French engineer Jean Prouvé, the armchair has been updated with a range of contemporary colors. With its armrests made of solid oil-treated wood and the structural aesthetic that characterizes its designer, the Fauteuil de Salon combines perfectly with other pieces in the Prouvé Collection
Seat and backrest: polyurethane padding; fabric or leather upholstery.
Armrests: solid wood with oil finish; natural oak, smoked oak or American walnut.
Base: Formed steel sheet and tubular steel, powder coating (fine texture)
Glides: hard glides for carpet or felt for hard floors.
