The Tube armchair is an original modular seat design by artist and architect Joe Colombo for the manufacturer Cappellini.
Tube is a chair proposal made of padded bi-elastic fabric in orange, white, black, turquoise blue and yellow. In addition, thanks to its modular structure, the Tube armchair takes different seat shapes as its cylinders are 100% movable.
The Tube chair is a sophisticated functional and customizable seat proposal through its modular structure. Permanently exhibited in renowned design spaces such as the MOMA Museum or the Triennale in Milan, the Tube chair is a cross between chaise longue and canapé reinterpreted from the iconic and classic prototype of 1969. Tube adapts to the individual and everyday life of each one, allowing its shape to be changed through its 4 modular cylinders. A timeless design full of history that continues to meet contemporary needs.
