CH22 lounge chair - Carl Hansen

The CH22 armchair by Carl Hansen embodies the artisanal nature of Hans J. Wegner design. The softened profiles and the careful treatment of every detail make the CH22lounge chair a timeless emblem that resists aging over time. The CH22 armchair is formed by a solid wood frame that joins the legs, while leading to finish the stability of the design with two vertical stems to the armrests and one horizontal. The seat hand-woven in paper rope completes the warmth and uniqueness of the piece.

The production of this design maintains the artisanal principles that defined it in the 50s in the Carl Hansen family workshop and although it was stopped for decades, it has been manufactured again since 2016.

Carl Hansen's CH22 is available with different oak treatments and allows you to choose the colour of the seat rope between natural or black. We suggest you choose between oil oak, white oil oak, soap oak, walnut and oak with walnut backrest with natural rope or black oak with black rope.
