In the 406 armchair, designed by Aalto in 1939, lightness and simplicity are represented in all their splendour. Only what is absolutely necessary is left. The seat is upholstered with a linen ribbon that is attached to a simple wooden structure.
Material: birch and linen.
Finishes: natural birch with straps in black linen, natural and white, black and blue, black and dark brown, natural and black or natural and red.
Measurements: Width 60 x depth 72 x total height 87 cm, seat height 41 cm, arm height 57 cm.
