The BK11 armchair by Carl Hansen is designed under the principles of modern Danish design, relating craftsmanship and architecture. Its author, Bodil Kjaer , understands furniture construction from a purely technical perspective. The BK11 outdoor armchair is a perfect choice for creating a warm and comfortable outdoor space.
In addition, this product acquires a patina over the years that makes it even more exclusive.
The BK11 armchair was designed in 1959 by Danish architect Bodil Kjær as part of his Indoor-Outdoor series, produced by Carl Hansen and Son. This furniture collection is inspired by architecture. The BK11 armchair is made of solid teak, creating a patina with age and use, which makes it even more beautiful.
It is made by the hand of artisans. The design of the chair has a sloping seat and backrest, with armrests, legs and lower crossbars, which come together to form two squares. It can be supplied with slim, supportive cushions made of weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric for comfort.
In addition to this armchair, the Kjær Indoor-Outdoor series includes a chair, a side table, a dining table, a two-seater sofa, a swing sofa and a sun lounger.
All seats, chairs and sofas can be supplied with weatherproof cushions.
