The Soft Pad EA 217 wheelchairs from Vitra belong to the Aluminium family of chairs, designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1969, and currently produced by the prestigious furniture firm Vitra.

The design of the Soft Pad Chairs is similar to that of the Aluminium Group. Although they offer a big difference, the stitched cushions make a striking contrast to the slender and delicate aluminium profiles.
