In these models, the designer has captured an abstract pattern or aesthetic based on geometrization based on basic figures. Although it seems inspired by the Tangram pieces, the source of inspiration for Modica rugs are the street tiles and their wear, which create a visual play between shapes and lines that appear and disappear creating asymmetrical shapes and perimeters throughout the surface of the Kilim.
It is made using the Kilim technique as mentioned above with 100% virgin wool.
