Floor lamp designed by Miguel Milá for Santa&Cole. The FADD Lamp, as its name suggests, was designed to illuminate the original offices of the Promotion of Arts and Design (FAD), a reference centre in Spain. A solid wood structure, with a cross-shaped section and a white linen shade, combine solidity and emptiness, gravity and elegance in an example of well-understood industrial craftsmanship, not at all folklorist or banal. The insertion of the vacuum in the crossbars of the base is remarkable. The height of the upper metal shaft is adjustable.
