It is a design created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the Danish firm, an original and sculptural seat with soft and fun shapes that you can add to your dining room. It brings great personality and character to the space where it is placed, leaving no one indifferent.
The Hippo dining chair rests on a robust oak wood structure that connects the upholstered seat and backrest that in marked contrast with the soft shapes is hard and strong.
The Hippo series of Norr11 is influenced by the mammal Hippopotamus which is based on its barrel-shaped torsos. The characteristic wooden leg profile comes in four different oak finishes; natural, light smoked, dark smoked, and black, and the seat and back come in a variety of upholstery options.
