Drop Chair - Fritz Hansen

The Drop "Drop" Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 as part of his masterpiece, the legendary Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. This chair was originally produced together with the Swan and the Egg, but in a very limited number exclusively for the hotel. After more than 50 years in hibernation, the Drop chair is back in production. It is a chair with a great personality and is as fresh, current and vibrant as if it were a new design but with a great history. The design of the back combines a warm embrace with freedom of movement, resulting in a surprising level of comfort.

The housing comes in plastic of various colors. It is made of ABS plastic with nylon as an inner reinforcement. The base consists of four legs in chrome-plated steel tube or with powder coating to match the shell. Both the chrome legs and the powder-coated legs for the plastic chair have a black synthetic plastic terminal.

Finishes: plastic housing available in several colors. Chrome or painted legs to match the color of the shell.
