The fantastic 16 Pesci puzzle, designed by the Italian Enzo Mari for Danese Milano in 1957, is made of oak wood and comes in a sophisticated box also made of wood, and can be considered as a small sculpture for your home. These 16 fish fit together like a puzzle and can also be placed upright because the upright position is balanced by the thickness of each fish. They hay no given rules because the complex of formal and symbolic relationships that characterizes animals stimulates the relational aptitude proper to the child's stage of development.

This puzzle is both a toy and a work of art. The New York Times said he was a "classic icon of 20th-century design." First produced for Danese in 1957, it marked the beginning of a long collaboration between Enzo Mari and Danese. Enzo Mari was determined to develop these products for mass production without compromising his belief that the result of every design project should be beautiful to the eye and touch, while performing its function efficiently.

Enzo Mari began his career with studies on visual perception, later incorporating children's games, graphics, design and architecture into his research.
