The RFH RD7 armchair, designed by Robin Day in 1951 for &Tradition, combines innovation and comfort. With a modern style and ergonomic structure, it stands out for its timelessness and elegance. Durable materials and iconic design make the RFH RD7 a unique piece that was created for visitors to the dining rooms of the Royal Festival Hall, it is characterized by its gently curved backrest and arms that extend outwards.

The striking shape of this armchair is achieved by a pressing moulding process of layers of beech and walnut veneer.

Product material: Walnut and beech veneer, powder-coated steel tubes and steel rod, HR foam.

Production Process: The frame is CNC curved, welded, and black powder coated. The backing is made of layers of walnut and beech veneer that are pressed and cut to size with a CNC machine. The seat is made of layers of beech veneer glued together and upholstered with foam.

Tests and certifications: The chair is tested for strength, durability and safety in accordance with: EN 16139 Level 2 (Seats).
