The Maui chair was the protagonist of research in the field of design during the nineties and represents the first of a new era of one-piece seats in a material that, in fact, does not have ribs, sides, metal supports or reinforcement structures to support the backrest.
The Maui chair by Kartell represents an extremely versatile project, capable of responding to the most varied needs of the contract or residential market, thanks to its elegant line, the sobriety of the colours and its practicality of use. Designed to meet the specific needs of collective spaces such as offices, laboratories, waiting rooms, bars or restaurants, conference and meeting rooms, or domestic environments such as the dining room, the children's room or the study. The unique structure of the backrest and seat is made of polypropylene and is fixed in a chrome-plated steel structure. Thanks to its design, the Maui chair with arms can be stacked up to 5 units.
