The Knot Chair with arms from the firm Normann Copenhagen is inspired by classic furniture from the 50s, but presents a simple and straightforward look with curved shapes reminiscent of Japanese functionalism and architectural style. Its most characteristic hallmark are the lacquered ash wood structure joints that are made with paper rope.

The knot chair by Normann Copenhagen is a design by Tatsuo Kuroda, a Japanese artist and designer who founded his studio in 2010.

This chair was created in 2012 and the Danish firm opted to produce this original design inspired by the classics of the 50s, which combines a lacquered ash wood structure with details and a point of union in matching paper rope with the chair or contrasting in a natural finish.

Knot Chair offers a comfortable seat within a clean and simple aesthetic based on the simplicity and functionality of Japanese architecture, in which the curved wood creates the legs, backrest and arms of the Knot chair , a seat with a slight curvature is added perfect to enjoy long hours in it.

You can enjoy this chair in your dining room, kitchen, or it is also perfect to add personality and character to restaurant and café environments.
