In his work, Chillida played with the concept of gravitation, creating tensions and reliefs with fragments of paper that, when superimposed or interspersed, gave rise to sculptural pieces of light and shadow. Nanimarquina conveys that same inspiration in this Gravitation 1997 rug in a similar way, through the use of different materials and textures thanks to the artisanal knotting technique of the Hand knotted.
